CHECK CHECK CHECKS

CHECK CHECK CHECKS

A trend we've been seeing growing and growing since last winter is nothing more and nothing less than... the checked (or plaid) pattern. This grunge iconic style has come back (not necessarily that punky) and is present in various ways, from long coats to accessories.
Seen in our favorite movies from the '90s, this is the most fun trend to use and creatively explore.

Here are some must-have items and ideas to how to style them!:

Checked Kurt-ish Shirt.

Very much inspired by our lovely Nirvana head-singer, the checked shirt and checked shacket is perfect for a careless urban street style.
Our recommendation for this item? Oversized is better. Just match with slim jeans or mom jeans and finish with a rocking faux leather boots or white sneakers. If you're looking for a more rockin' outfit, faux leather pants will do the trick.

Give. Me. That. Teddy.

This item is a must this season. The checked teddy jacket is an ideal item to level up that not-no-stunning-yet winter outfit.
Nothing gives a more cozy and wintery vibe than a cute teddy coat. Just imagine yourself with it, a hot pumpkin latte on your hand, your cute tote bag on the other, walking around the snowy streets... sorry, got carried away there. But major right?
How to? Match with a cute crop top, faux leather leggings, and chunky sneakers.

The Checked Skirt.

Did you think we were going to miss this?? AS IF!
The iconic checked skirt is welcomed in every wardrobe this season, because, who would lose the chance of looking as stunning as Cher Horowitz?
Styling this skirt is easy: add a crop top, a chunky oversized sweater (cropped or slightly tucked in), and sneakers!

Tartan Pants.

These are not an office kind of pants, these are boss babe kind of pants. Whether they are in soft neutral tones, dark combinations, or black and white, these pants will speak other level high-style.
Match with a turtleneck cami, a plain matching blazer and you're good to go!
We promise. People will come to you and tell you how good you look ;)

Don't be shy and go bold on the mix and matching! Try contrasting colors, pairing with other cool prints and patterns, even matching with another check pattern (maybe in another scale) can look out-the-box incredibly fabulous! Just remember to have fun.
